DisclaimerThe information we provide is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It should not be used in place of the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider. Ketamine is a promising treatment, however psychedelics are not a panacea or magic pill. Do extensive research, and consult multiple credible resources before making a decision.

Ketamine is a Schedule III controlled substance. Currently, with certain exceptions, the use of ketamine for depression and related behavioral health matters is “off label.” This means that although ketamine is approved by the FDA for some medical uses, it is not specifically approved to treat depression. While the practice of prescribing off-label drugs is legal and common, there is an inherent level of risk when said drug is a controlled substance with a history of recreational abuse. Accordingly, the American Psychiatric Association has issued guidelines for clinicians who wish to use ketamine for such purposes.

Ketamine prescription and administration, whether intravenous, oral or nasal, constitutes the practice of medicine, therefore always consult with a licensed physician before beginning any therapy protocol, and be sure to know your jurisdiction’s laws and regulations concerning such protocols.

This site and its contents are for informational purposes only and are focused on legal, licensed clinical therapy, and in no way is intended to recommend obtaining or using illicit substances. It is important to understand that using any psychedelic products from the street has significant risks, and is unlikely to produce the promising results emerging in some clinical trials which involve particular dosing and purity, along with specific, carefully crafted psychotherapy in a safe, controlled environment. Various psychedelics purchased illegally often are adulterated with other, possibly harmful substances, making it difficult to dose properly for PTSD, anxiety, or depression treatment or any kind of therapeutic purpose.
